Is there such a thing as a DVD codec for WMP 9? I am prepared to pay but cannot find a site still offering anything for Win2k, will an XP codec work?

How about we try this from a different angle, what kind of problem are you experiencing?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

I am having difficulty playing DVDs on my laptop, I have tried a free DVD software player also a paid up version. I have a NEC DVD+-RW ND-6500A with Microsoft driver. The disk just spins & then stops dead.

OK have reseated the drive and am using Windows Media Classic to play DVD, however is a little stuttery. Anyone know of a PCI DVD decoder for laptop? They seem a bit thin on the ground, would have to work with Win2k.
