Every time I open Internet Explorer I the get error message "Interenet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconveinence." Send ....or..... Don't send Buttons. I click Don't send and have to re-open internet explorer as it shuts down. I can click either button and the results are the same. I have to to this four to five times before a true connection is made.
This is very annoying because it only happens when I open Internet Explorer.
Does anyone have any idea why this happesnand any suggestions?

Thanks

Actually, I took the advice to reformat and reinstall win xp. and changed my passwords.
I no longer have that file. Everything is working fine except I get the annoying nag everytime I go to start the internet and it is only with the internet explorer. I have run a scan with Xsoftspy and there are no infections. I ran a scan with registry fix and no errors are found.
Need some suggestions before I reformat again.

Have you run any other anti-spyware programs like Spybot and Ad-Aware? Have you looked at disabling some unnecesary add-ons in IE?
