I recently tried to copy a CD for a friend, but it wouldn't let me copy it to another CD, it kept saying read-only. So, I tried to copy it to my hard drive and that worked. But, when I try to download the files off of my hard drive, to a CD/DVD, it won't let me. What can I do?
You cannot copy to a CD...you must burn the data onto the CD. Copying only works with storage media, e.g., hard drives, floppies...which are writeable/erasable. A CD is burned in, non-eraseable, which is why it's read-only (cannot be edited on a CD).
If I don't understand your situation, forgive me .
