Windows Xp And Norton Ghost

have norton ghost going to clone my hd to another when it restarted it came up missing operating system i was running win xp pro plz help i need it 4 school by the way i was using a external hard drive to clone to email me

What version of Norton Ghost, please?

Did the drive actually clone to the other hard drive?

What was the exact error message reflected when you tried to boot?

When in Ghost, what option did you select? Disk-to-disk? Disk from image?

Have u created the Image of the DISK
