Hello,

I have downloaded some .rar-files.
How do I put them together? I guess
one needs a program to do this - if
so where can I find it?

Thank You,

Martti

Hi MarttiL

.rar are compressed or zip files. Right click and OPEN. If there is an installed unzipper, it will work automatically to give you the usable .exe files.
If it doesn't work, get ExtractNow from here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic3616.html

When you OPEN your .rar file, a box will popup and you click on EXTRACT down the bottom. A new folder with the extracted files will appear beside your .rar files in a couple of seconds.

ExtractNow will open most types, but if not then get 7ZIP from the above, slightly more complicated but will open just about everything.

Cheers
