Hey!

When I hit Ctrl-alt-del at the same time to bring up my task manager it comes up in a box that looks exactly like:

-----------------------------------------
|Task | Status |
-----------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------
| End Task | Switch To | New Task...|

Sorry about the crude display, but I don't know how to make a picture off of my computer...

When I have done this on other computers that my friends have that task manager has different types of tabs. Mine doesn't have any tabs.
How can I make my task manager look like my friend's. Why exactly does my task manager look the way it does? Is it a bad thing?

Thank you for any help

use the print screen button to take a picture of your screen, save it as a file, which you can then host on like, imagebucket.com or something and then post it here. not sure how to post a pic on here, but at least that's got you some of the way to figuring out your problem...

I think I know what your talking about, gasmith2.
Try double-clicking, anywhere on the border of the Task Manager, and see if that restores it.

Here's a step-by-step, for posting a screenshot:
How to take and share a screen shot in Windows
