My experience with computers starts in 1954 with the IBM 701, moves through the mainframe world, the midrange world, and the PC world.

I found the BleepingComputer site quite by accident and was impressed with the responses given. I hope to be a part of the community for some time.

My current involvement with computers is being part of a Microsoft Authorized Rebuilder site which receives computers from local banks and businesses and rebuilds them for needy families. This puts in line to see some very strange and puzzling problems as the hardware we get can be very different from what came out of the factory.

I also have occasion to help people who foul their machines by not protecting them and have been impressed with the help given here.

Hello to all.
