Hi, all. Writing from the Houston area. I seem to be in interesting company with today's other new folks from Nigeria and maybe Hawaii.

I'd like to say that I'm looking forward to working with you all, but I truly don't find this malware stuff fun at all. But I do, indeed, appreciate the help.

Please take the time, to browse the New User Orientation forum, to help familiarize yourself with how the board works.
If you have any questions about how to use this site, this forum will probably answer them.

Just for the sake of closure...

Thanks for all the good advice you have on this site. The process of preparing for a hijackthis log submission cleaned up that last droppings of the IE Defender infestation. In my case, Trend Micro Antivirus got the last of it.
