The first page after registering, suggested introducing myself. It didn't show clearly, for me, how to do this, so I'm trying this approach of a new topic in introductions.
An Investor Village discussion board on the stock NFI talked about computer problems and one gave a link to this board. Then the home page gave the hope that I could find how to decide which running programs aren't useful. So that's one of the things I'm here for.
Oh, me: 78 yrs old in New Orleans, in higher ground area, no hurricane damage, live alone except for 2 dogs (what kind: dogs); hope to see the Catholic faith return to fill the beautiful old churches that are almost empty, get people to accept their calling as humans, and sing Gregorian chant.

You seemed to have figured out to post an introduction on your own, so congratulations!
You may want to look at the Tab above each BC page:Startup List. This contains a large number of applications with advice on whether they are optional, needed by your system, or should be killed. Naturally, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to post for advice from our Members.
