Do you get an error message when unsuccessful at accessing a web site?

Are they secure sites like Microsoft and E-Bay?

Have you made any changes to your OS lately?
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.

What firewall are you using and do you have it set to auto-update? I have Zone Alarm on 2 computers. When it updates my wife's, I have to reset the security settings. You also might try flushing the DNS Cache http://www.updatexp.com/ Just flushing it is no big deal. If you do the 2nd part, that involves the registry so PLEASE back it up before doing that

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
