Posted 01 December 2007 - 03:44 PM

I am runnig CA internet secutiry suite 2007 and it can't get rid of the "Backdoor H" virus.
I can no longer use - control panel, windows explorer, adobie etc.
I get popups saying I no longer have access or authorization to use these programs.
All the popup file name end with".dll"

I also have other virus's poping up again and again, but "Backdoor H" never goes away.

There are lots of nuisance popups as well.

Hello,

Your system has been compromised. If you don't reformat and reinstall, which is your safest and surest course, then it is extremely important to change your passwords and such after it's clean. Your passwords are all known. Don't do it now, or they'll just get stolen again. Keep an eye on any sensitive accounts you might have for nefarious activity. Please let me know what you decide to do.

Regards,
tea
