I have just found a file called backweb*****.exe and 7288971.exe. Looks like theyare related to the Kodak Easyshare software program I have. Also found some postings concering non-use of these files in the startup program. Any info concerning the deletion and what it will do?

You get that backweb thing alot when you install hardware. Got it with my HP printer. All it does, or says it does, is to check for updates for the software.
I don't trust it as it my track your internet usage as well. Delete from startup. it won't hurt anything.

It's spyware, but not real bad spyware (doesn't steal info). I'd disable it on principle.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
