I need to find a way to add a file name stamp to some drawings in PDF format so that I can sort out duplicates (that may have different file names).

I can use the following printers:

XEROX Phaser 8860
HP LaserJet 4250 PCL

I have searched the preferences on both, but the closest I can find is a time and date stamp on the Xerox printer. Is there any other way I could get a stamp of the file name on each drawing?

You could add a watermark to each drawing, but you would have to do it manually.
