In using the startup database,I'm getting a lot of "File not found"s. I'm not shutting off any of these, but what exactly are files like urlmon.dll which are all over my autoruns?
Also, if the publisher is listed as microsoft or intel in the autoruns program, does that mean the file is good? I found ADVpack.dll in windows media player and netmeeting.

Which startup database are you referring to. In most startup management programs "file not found" means that there's a startup entry for that file - but the file isn't where it's supposed to be. Could be caused by an improper uninstall of a program - or by malware removal.

No!!! If it says Microsoft or Intel it can still be an issue!!! But (IME), most malware writers haven't taken the time to spoof this deeply so it's likely that they're good (but far from sure!) Regardless of the file - if you don't know what it is you should research it and see if it's good or bad.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
