Just wondering how safe it is to surf Youtube.

I would like to view some music/video posted on that site.

I am trying to be cautious.

For those that frequent Youtube, have you had any trouble ?

Thank You for your time.

EDIT: Thanks moderator for moving this post. I was not sure where it belonged.

youtube is a video web streaming service that uses Flash to stream videos, i don't think Youtube will be this popular if they distribute security vulnerabilities to your computer. in fact i've been using the service for more than 2 years. :flowers:

what ever website you browse as long as you do not download anything and your browser's security setting is set to default, i think you will be safe from attacks.

Thanks for the reply.

I was equating it to some music sharing sites which are very popular and have been around for years yet are renowned for security problems.

Thanks again,

Dennis

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
