I forgot my msn password because I wasn't on my PC for a week, as it wasn't working. So how do I get my msn password. I have forgotten what my question's answer was.

thanks in advanced

Hello flyp,

There may be something in I've forgotten the answer to my MSN Hotmail secret question, *and* my password, what do I do? that will help.

This is a great little (FREE) system information tool. It has a folder called "Secrets". You might be able to retrieve your password with it. I can't guarantee it. I normally say no to Windows/IE saving passwords, and use another POP program to check my old hotmail and yahoo accounts, but it does list all my other Outlook Express mail account passwords that I have through my ISP provider. (And all my forum accounts log on information.)

I use the standalone version, so there's no install. I just keep it in a Tools folder.

On the MSN go to your Windows Live Home,
Click on Account,
Then click on Forgot My Password.

You will then be prompted through the process to reset your password.

The Windows live ID box equates to your MSN email address.

If that doesn't work, you can try the SIW download that mommabear suggested.
If you hadn't saved your PWS previously to your Windows OS, it will not show up there.
Then you'll just have to get a new account on the MSN.
