I have a Lexmark x1240 all-in-one, and it won't copy anymore. It can still scan and print just fine, but when I tried hitting the copy button, nothing happened. When I first got it (back in August), it copied just fine when I tested it. I tried again last week, but it wouldn't do it. The only button that does anything is the paper feed button. The black and white copy, color copy, and scan buttons don't do anything. I'll try emailing Lexmark support when I get back to my room and can look up the serial number, but does anyone know what could be wrong?

Sometimes, a simple uninstall of all Lexmark software files and removal/deletion of the printer...followed by a reboot/reinstall of the Lexmark CD...is all that is required.

File corruption, probably.

Yeah, that fixed it. I guess I had disabled the Lexmark software, but it needed the software to be able to copy.
