Anyone playing it?
So far, I'm happy with it. Great new units, though some of the new experimentals are a bit over the top...mainly the Aeon "endless resource generator" and the UEF satellite (the satellite itself can't be destroyed; to bring it down you must take out the facility in the UEF base...you know, the one with 50 SAM towers and 20 T3 shields...
Sure, the Cybran Megalith kicks booty (and looks mighty cool doing it), but I don't think the game needed any more weapon systems that can be deployed anywhere on the map from the safety of "home."
I do like the new army. I was hoping for a bit more diversity, but honestly I think that overall game balance is more important. The new units for all the factions should "spice up" gameplay - in terms of diversity - across the board.
The only thing I don't care for is the fact that the game seems to further support turtle players. It's getting harder for a rusher to make an honest living...
