Installed win xp pro on my computer and now it won't connect to the internet. Bought it at a yard sale and it worked fine. It had win xp home on it. Daughter clicked on a security warning and it turned out to be a virus. Well, since it was a used computer it had a lot of stuff on it I didn't want or need so I installed win xp pro and now I can't figure out how to get the dsl to connect to the internet. I've tried the new connection wizard and it hasn't worked and the cd I got from the service provider Omnilec doesn't seem to help either. Not sure what info is needed to get some help with this. If someone could shed some light on this I'd be very grateful.

Did you do a full install, with format?
What type of Win Xp CD do you have. Full retail or OEM?
was this OS disc installed on another PC that is still running?
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
