Hi I just joined today. I recently got a strange infection that Windows Defender detected, and I tried to look online for help. Then I found this site :D Hopefully I will get this problem resolved soon; from what ZoneLabs firewall stated, an evil person (hacker? hijacker? scammer?) is downloading government files from California and something from teacherweb.com
While I was trying to solve this problem, a friend suggested we start learning a bit of programming and basic computer science so we don't have to panic when another problem comes. A job as a virus deleter might also come in handy during the summer, so I will be on here more.
So in short, hi to everyone, and I hope you all will help me as I learn about malicious software during my visit here ^_^
"If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way." - Bertrand Russell
