I still use widows 2000 with service pack 4 here at work. My prob is that I pulled out the old CD only drive and installed a DVD drive, but it does not work. It plays audio CD's just fine but when I try to watch a DVD ( installed power DVD XP 4.0) it says NO disc in drive. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated !!! Thanks. Oh yea when I first booted the computer it did NOT find any new hardware, and I tried manually and it says the device is working properly.......

Thanks for posting the Fix... It may help another.
