Any help would be appreciagted.

My primary hard drive crashed and I lost my OS. But, I can boot up my computer using second hard drive but it has no OS. I can view the files from DOS prompt.

Question 1 - Can I connect this desktop to another laptop for copying files using pier to pier connection. If so, how?

Question 2 - Can I bring up windows using Windows 95/98 CD?

The idea is to copy files to another m/c and then load OS on this hard drive (now primary).

You can just boot off the second hard drive and install win 98 on it. Your hard drive will not be wiped and you wont lose any data
