Hi There,

I'm running Windows XP, SP2.

I have Mcafee Viruscan and Xoftspyse installed.

I am having issues with WEBCRY. If I click a link in google I get redirect to another site..WEBCRY is to blame (whatever this is).

How do I get rid of it?

SuperAntiSpyware may be able to remove the Webcry infection. Download the free version for home users of SuperAntiSpyware, install it and then update the definitions (by clicking the "Check for Updates" button). Then reboot your computer into Safe Mode (How to start Windows in Safe Mode) and run a scan by clicking the "Scan Your Computer" button and checking "Perform Complete Scan". After the scan is finished reboot your computer back into Normal Mode.

If SuperAntiSpyware is unable to remove the infection see the following Bleeping Computer Removal guide:
