I am obviously a new user - I am recently retired and am trying to learn more about my computer and computer programs. I got started by running into difficulties with my Flight Simulator which gave me the option to learn how to configure my new "panels". but I chickened out because I recently crashed my computer by entering the config program before I knew anything about it. I am still gunshy but wanting to learn how to make my computer run better and to begin to understand about computer language and programming. Am I in the right place with this site and forum?

You will find BC a great place to learn about computers, and just as importantly, to ask questions or seek advice from more experienced users.
