I am getting an error message when some web pages freeze. The message states: The instruction at "0x2583dde" referenced memory at "0x026f3664". The memory could not be "read". Click ok to terminate this program. When I click ok, it opens up another error box with the same message. The only way to close the page is to right click it.

I had some malware issues that were taken care of in one of the other rooms and that person suggested I post here about my error message.

Which Internet Browser do you use?
If it's Internet Explorer 7 - Uninstall it in Control Panel...Add/Remove Programs and see if Internet Explorer 6 works without these problems. If so, then reinstall Internet Explorer 7 and try it again.

If it's Internet Explorer 6 - Uninstall Service Pack 2 and see how Internet Explorer works. Then reinstall Service Pack 2 and get all the Windows Updates that will be missing.

If this doesn't fix it, then we'll have to look at some of your other web settings.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

I did what you suggested and am still having problems. This morning, I checked to make sure I didn't miss any window updates. When the web pages freeze up, I keep getting the same errors. Any suggestions?
