Hi to you,
and thanks in advance,

A few days ago the comp started to run slow and popups occured whilst surfing the net and couldnt control what webpages were being loaded.
Ntl virus checker was picking up various files that it couldn't delete initially and would delete on restart.
This became a viscious circle of files being mentioned.
On running Spybot search and destroy, it was picking up various malware one being vitumondo which it confirmed deletion of but still i was getting warnings.
I ran AVG rootkit and AVG antispy and let them delete entries they found followed by Vundo fix and virtumundo be gone.
This seemed to cure the speed of the computer problem and I regained control. I deleted all temp files etc and stopped system restore for the time it took to run the scans again.
All the software mentioned was ran over and over including in safe mode as well, and now nothing is being picked up at all when any check is now made.

The only problem it seems that is left is that NTL netguard - Antispyware popup keeps apearing every 30 secs or so. Saying failed to delete Abetear A. to learn more, refer to our spyware centre. Which retuns nothing.

I always have an antivirus running and its firewall and always update windows xp. This has snuck on somehow, i wish i knew how.

Iwould appreciate any aid in this matter to correct the problem.
I have taken the preparatory steps and included the Hijack this report.

Can anybody help?

Thanks
Graham

I apologize for the very long delay. We have a huge backlog of HijackThis Logs to handle and it has been taking us greater time than normal to get caught up. If you are still having a problem, and want us to analyze your information, please post a brand new hijackthis log. If we do not hear back from you within a couple of days we will need to close your topic.

When posting your logs please post them directly into the reply. Do not attach them.

Thank you for your patience.
