Hello, I've been having some bad spyware infections on my computer and now it has really messed it up. I have run Ad-aware SE Personal and Spybot Search & Destroy and deleted 140 objects but some things are still on my computer and change and settings. Here is my Hijackthis log:

Download the attached zip file and unzip it to your desktop.

http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/DelDomains.inf

Right-click on the deldomains.inf file and select 'Install'

Download cwshredder 2.12 from here:

http://cwshredder.net/bin/CWShredder.exe

Run the file after it is downloaded and click on the fix button. Let it do its thing and when its done, even if it crashes.

When its done run hijackthis again post a new log

I have completed both tasks you have said to do. When I ran CWShredder it found nothing. The issues I am having are slow start up, and a blank destop background that flickers when I pass over an icon. I have tried to change the background of course but no luck. Here is my Hijackthis log after doing what you have said.

Print out these instructions and then close all windows including Internet Explorer.

Then I want you to fix some of those entries. Please do the following:

Please make sure that you can view all hidden files. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:

How to see hidden files in Windows

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then click the Fix button:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [appqb32.exe] C:\WINDOWS\appqb32.exe
O15 - ProtocolDefaults: 'http' protocol is in Trusted Zone, should be Internet Zone
O18 - Filter: text/html - {950238FB-C706-4791-8674-4D429F85897E} - (no file)
O23 - Service: Network Security Service (%AF) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\msla32.exe (file missing)

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode

Then delete these files or directories (Do not be concerned if they do not exist)

C:\WINDOWS\appqb32.exe

Reboot your computer to go back to normal mode and post a new log.
