Can I Attach A Note To A Jpg File

I want to attach a note to some jpg files as an explanation about the picture. I don't want make the file name that long. Is that possible?

I don't believe it's an ordinary option...but some 3d-party application probably allows/facilitates what you describe.

Just out of curiosity...what kind of notes about a graphic image...do you want to make?

I believe that most standard image editors allow text to be added to graphics. If I wanted to attach any text info, I would either just insert it upon the graphic or expand the border and insert it there.

Louis, thanks for the reply. I wanted to put some kind of note about the pics, such as what it was and if something needed an explanation about it so I didn't forget it. Nothing too serious or clandestine. I am looking at a couple of freeware programs I found. Maybe they'll work.

I'm not sure but I think some type of "sticky note" (post-it notes for computers) application might work for you. We have a few listed here in our Free Application thread. Give them a look:
