Just moved here to DE after retiring from 37 yrs of mostly IT work. Now that my neighbors know what I use to do, everyone thinks I'm a techie. Right now, I'm trying to help a neighbor solve an IE malware problem, so I thought I would checkout the tutorials for some insight into fixing the problem. Hopefully the tutorials will provide step-by-step instructions that I can follow. I'm looking forward to the sharing of information. Lastly, I have a MacBook as well as a PC.

Hi nalarevolg, Welcome to Bleeping Computer

Good thing you're retired, your too busy to work!
Hey, I'm getting a MacBook in the near future myself.

Please take a moment and visit the New User Orientation section, to get familiarized with how the board works.

There is also an extensive Tutorials section, that offers a wide range of information and solutions.

BC has a ton of Malware Removal Guides that provide malware-specific step by step procedures:

If you need help in identifying the problem, please post in the Am I Infected? forum.
