If this is another aol boondoggle, or what,
I had to call Aol because my web page history recording hasn't been working they had me rebuild the adapter and do a quick restore. . .
then I could not get reconnected because the snmaster .idx data file is missing it, and they ask me to please restore this file.

Briefly, I went to the intewrnet and checked it out, it did not look good, so I recalled them, the guy I spoke to was in India, did not know where Atlantic City was, and had no idea of what he was doing, I told him there were pages of this on the internet, after about 45 miniutes of absolutley nowhere , I decided, heck I am going to have to ask you guys,. . so, does anyone have any idea how I can fix this ?

I thought at least you might get some smiles out of the story.

I really got know where fast trying to understand the technical jargon I have found. This seems to be an exclusive AOL problem.

Any help you can give me I will be exaultedly appreciative.

P.S. If you have time and would like to help me you might make some sense of this;

I went to my other computer to search for this file.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AOL\C_America Online 9.0\idb\

I was on line at the time using AOL and this was what I searched for per the web site in last post.

This is what I got;

I tried Restore and as soon as my WXP opened I received the missing file error notice.
