Stickykeys Problem(biggest Problem I Ever Had)

Hey people,

i just have one problem...when ever i press the shift key five times or hold it for 8 seconds...a window will pop-up
then after that when i press settings, to turn it off it won't work..
i've also tried system restore but it did nothing
i keep on pressing settings and nothing happened.
and also they said i can fix it by reinstalling windows xp but i dunt have the cd so....

After you press Settings, did you click on the Settings button for StickyKeys in the next window? That will give you the option to turn off the keyboard shortcut.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Hi try pressing the [Shift] button 5 times to bring up the Sticky Keys applet. Windows should give an audible tone and then the Applet window comes up with the following choices:

OK Cancel Settings

Try that and post back if it does not work.
