All of a sudden I have a CD ROM drive "I". It doesn't exist in my computer. I was on the phone with Dell for an hour and a half and all they could say was to reinstall my system to get rid of it. I did so, and was good for about a week, then it appeared again. Anyone have this problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

System: AMD 64 Dual Core Processor.

Memory: 2 gig

OS: Windows Vista Business

Again thanks.

Some CD and DVD burning software will install this device on your computer as a part of their software - have you recently installed such a program?
