Winupdater.exe - What Its For?

I have this programe (winupdater.exe) in start up, and when I try to deselect it just comes back. I have read that this could be a virus, could someone tell me what it is ment to do?

At the very top of this page you will see a list of tabs tagged as Home, Forums, Tutorials, Startup List, Uninstall List, File Database, Glossary and Resources. Click on the one tagged Startup List then enter your .exe file name and it will give you the information you need, to follow up on.

Yeah, i was gonna say.... don't run it.


It runs in the background, and I am trying to stop it.
