I did a search for 'wildtangent' and 150 MB of files associated with that name, mostly registration entries and compressed folders due to Spybot-Search & Destroy/Recovery. What are these and is it OK to delete them? I've done some googling and wiki research, and it seems like wildtangent is associated with gaming and pseudospyware. Your thoughts welcomed. Thanks.

Try deleting them and do your regular things, and if a problem results, go into your recycle bin and restore them. Hope this helps!
