I have a 250gb HD i use as storage for films and music.

I have just had to reinstall windows.
Last time i run windows my 250gb was the F:Storage and i was able to use it delete stuff from it all the normal.

Since the reinstall of windows (windows relabeled to E:Storage) i am able to copy stuff over to it and view/listen to files from it but i can't delete any of the files, i have tried many different type of file across loads of different folders but none of them will delete.

I get Error Deleting File or Folder
Cannot delete Doctor Who Ep2: Access Denied

Make sure the disk is not full or write protected
and the the file is not in use.

I'm shaw the file isn't in use could it be write protected. I guessing its got to be something to do with the new install as that is when this started to happen.

Please could someone give me a little guidance.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Right click the file you're trying to delete, and select Properties.
At the bottom, under Attributes:, make sure there is no check, in the box next to Read-only.
If there is, remove the check, click Apply, then OK.
