A little icon called "google updater" appeared at the bottom right of my screen. When clicked a popup appears with "Open Google Update, show new software, etc...." There is also a google updater.exe appearing on my desktop. I don't know if this is something I want or should have - have been getting along fine without it. If not, how do I get rid of the icons?

Thanks,
Karen

The icons should go away when you uninstall the goggle thing. If not delete them to the recycle bin.
