Hi I tried using the removal process written out by Grinler (big thank you) but it didn't work. Here is the log as requested.

Export SharedTaskScheduler key
------------------------------
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\SharedTaskScheduler]
"{438755C2-A8BA-11D1-B96B-00A0C90312E1}"="Browseui preloader"
"{8C7461EF-2B13-11d2-BE35-3078302C2030}"="Component Categories cache daemon"

The stupid popup keeps showing up every other second and I can't use IE because it keeps switching to some random site, therefore the Panda scan won't work (I'm using the opera browser). God all I want is 5 minutes with the guy who invented this stupid virus and I'll teach him the meaning of pain.

Hi Justin, Welcome to the forum,

We are sorry for the delay in responding. The volunteers here are swamped and unfortunately not all logs get answered as quickly as we'd like.

CLICK HERE to download the HijackThis Installer:
  • Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
  • Double-click on HJTInstall.exe to run the program.
  • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.
  • Accept the license agreement by clicking the "I Accept" button.
  • Click on the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. It will scan and once its finished it will open the results in notepad
  • Come back here to this thread and paste the full log in your next reply.
  • Do NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet! Most of what it finds will be harmless or even essential for your system.
Thanks

Andy
