Hey everyone, I'm new, but I think that goes without saying. You can call me Kat. I love acting and singing and dancing. I also love to read and I love to write. Actually, I'm here mostly because my computer has gotten really messed up lately. I've ended up with a bunch of malware and ad-ware that's really slowing down my computer. I've been working on a book, but now it's almost gotten to the point where opening Word crashes my system. Once I've opened Internet Explorer once, even if I close it and have no internet windows open, I get pop ups, usually around 26 an hour. And that's not touching anything. So it's gotten pretty bad. I'm hoping to clean up my system so I can finally get back to writing my book.

Welcome misskittykat395
That all sounds so great. Why don't you post a question here and we'll see about cleaning that PC up.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

Be very careful to save that Work In Progress to disk; you cannot be to careful with your draft, especially if you have malware and are attempting to remove it.
I am sure our Members can help you.
