I found your forum on how to get rid of "HomeSearch Assistant / CWS_NS3. But how do I get IE to cooperate and let me download what I need to download.

What are you trying to d/l and what precisely is happening with IE when you attempt to d/l it? Are you getting any error messages?

adsspy (download link)

also there are some tutorials

sorry forgot second part of your question.

what happens is nothing. the hijacked page keeps coming up and it tells me that whatever I am trying to connect to is unavailable.
