Hi all , I am looking for the best external hard drive for me to store music and pic's under $100. I have a geateway performance 500 cimputer running windows 98 so I need one with usb capability. I saw this one and would love your input.

Well...if it were me, I would purchase a USB 2.0 enclosure and a hard drive as separates.

AFAIK, there's no advantage at to doing it any other way.

yeah ive got a artke 2.5' external usb caddie and a 80gb notebook drive and it is supurb! under $100 (aussie) as well..

if u have eSata, i would suggest one of those caddies though.

otherwise, its really all much of a muchness so to say
