Hi There,

This PC of mine has been detected by other pc infected by this Falgna virus. I am using F-prot antivirus but guess the program did not do the job.

I tried to install Norton Antivirus but it says something wrong with my pc and not allowing me to install it.

The floppy drive seems to be reading something every 5 sec... but nothing is there to read.

It is now infecting my other pcs.

can you please help to analyse my HijackThis log and see if anything can be done?

Further to my earlier submission, I have managed to solve the following.

Download the AVG antivirus, install it and scan the harddisk. It is found that Falgna is also known is Delt.EOV virus. At the same time, there is also another Virus called VBS/Small detected.

But There is this file a.dll.vbs which seemed hard to be cleaned as it keep reoccuring in every scan.

I then use HijackThis to Fix the following

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [WindowsUpdate] wscript.exe C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\a.dll.vbs

Then after reboot, there are some error message of the following files cannot be loaded, i.e. regedit.exe and services.exe

I then run Hijackthis again and try Fix the following

F3 - REG:win.ini: load=C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\services.exe
F3 - REG:win.ini: run=explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\System\regedit.exe

Reboot and the problem faced previous such as floppy noise, my computer screen pop out... all solved.

I then download System Mechanic and have the PC scanned and I was prompt to clear off the launcher.exe and other risk items reported.

But next problem arised, that was, I cannot double click to open C drive and I still cannot uncheck the box to show hidden file. Due to the virus, all my folders in C drive has been set to hidden mode. I can't see them except if I use DOS.

Whenever I double click C drive, I cannot open and get the error message cannot find a.dll.vbs

I then tried to clean the autorun.inf as the virus keep coming back.

Unable to set the option in window to show hidden file. I use DOS to delete the Autorun.inf but typing del c:\autorun.* /f/s/q/a and d:\autorun.inf.* /f/s/q/a

All the autorun.inf file has been deleted.

Finally I can double click and open C and D drive without the prompt for a.dll.vbs

now I last problem, I still cannot set to see the files/ folders that were turned Hidden due to the Virus Attack.

Attach is my new Hijhack log; Hope you can help me. Thanks Regards Kat
