I just attempted to d/l an upgrade to Spybot.

This showed. What does it mean? I do not get it.

Also everytime I search for updates failed to load .zip.dll shows. I click O.K. Then the updates are always installed.

I got the same message just now,Scarlett; I checked a couple of other sites, and people are having the same problem. A checksum error can occur either from a bad download, or there could be a internal problem.

2/16/2005 6:28:37 PM Downloaded update info file. (http://security.kolla.de/updates/spybotsd.ini)
2/16/2005 6:29:06 PM downloaded update Detection rules
2/16/2005 6:29:06 PM - URL: http://www.see-cure.de/updates/files/includes.zip
2/16/2005 6:29:06 PM - Local file: C:\PROGRAM FILES\SPYBOT - SEARCH & DESTROY\Updates\includes.zip
2/16/2005 6:29:06 PM - FILE REJECTED because of bad checksum

I checked their site, and they do not have the new definitions available as a separate download as of now.
It may be a mistake by Spybot, because the download appears to be from SeeCure instead of the usual Spybot URL.

Another source indicates it might be that the server is overloaded at the current time:

I changed the download target just now, and it downloaded without any problems.

I just tried it and the download from SeeCure came up as bad checksum but when I tried the Malwarebytes (USA) server the download was fine. Must be local to SeeCure.
