IE7 doesnt work with 98.

There are no more updates from Microsoft for 98, ME and XP Service pack 1 as of July 2006
See http://www.microsoft.com/windows/support/endofsupport.mspx

Are you experiencing any issues?

There is a simple solution to this. Dont use Internet Explorer!
Many better and vastly superior web browsers can be had for free
This is what I use http://www.myie2.com/html_en/home.htm
Havent seen a popup ad in years!
In the beginning there was the command line.

Hi Eyesee

? From that link I noticed that "MyIE2" comes with a "Google Tool Bar" and will Google be tracking you at all.
Before I try It out, can you remember if you are force to have the Google tool bar or can you have it deleted while it is installed or afterwards.

Regards

What version of IE6 are you using?

You can download Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 of M$. Its only a small initialisation file so you have to be connected for an hour or more if you are on dial up.

Or there is Windows 9x Power Pack 4.0, 217Mb with IE6.0 updates and a few more things for Win98.

Along with Windows 9x Power Pack Patch 4.1, 73.3Mb.

If you would like to update I would suggest giving Firefox a try, it is free and more importantly it is a stand alone browser which adds another level of security.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Google is the defaut search engine in MYIE but there is no toolbar per se.
If you do install the Google Toolbaf in IE you can disable te advanced features during the install

Might help to know what issues you are having with IE
In the beginning there was the command line.

Hi

I'm not experiencing any problems  as such, apart from "Bill Gates" usual crashes that I've become accustomed too; merely following this topic and I posed a question about MyIE2.

My PC runs WinME :trumpet: + IE 6.0.2800.1106 SP1 and 23 various Q82875 to Q916281
I have Firefox which came with Ubuntu CD unfortunately Firefox will not display my :flowers: Web Site (which can be found in my profile).
