I get this message everyday from Microsoft, "Cumulative Security Update for Outlook Express 6 Service Pack 1", in the past I did the download but now I just delete it. Any ideas on why it comes everyday without fail and asks me to download it ? Is there a way to stop it ?

It usually comes within the first 30 minutes after getting online, it is always the same update for that service pack

Have you checked the install history to be certain it Has installed?

Control Panel - Internet Options - Advanced tab
Uncheck the box that says Automatically Check for Internet Explorer updates
See if that does the trick
In the beginning there was the command line.
