Laptop Battery Says 15 Min On Full Charge

Hi I have a one year old laptop with Xp one day it started saying 15 left on 100% full charge and after 15 min it shuts down.

whats wrong?

It is entirely possible if you have left your battery in your machine and used the AC adapter primarily, that your battery now has a 'memory charge'. Meaning that it only retains a partial charge and cannot do a full charge/discharge cycle.

need a complete list of items you have autostarting, and a screen capture of the taskbar fully maximized to show all items in it.

Thanks my sister is just going to have Circuit City replace the Battery since its under warrenty. I just wanted to know why it
would do that. Yes she leaves it plugged in all the time. Thanks!
