Hi there,

As the title implies, I am currently having an issue with networking.

My computer has an onboard ethernet port, and a PCI Wireless Adapter. I connect to my wireless router using the Wireless Adapter (Logical.). What I want to do is connect something (An Xbox 360 if what it is makes a difference) to the ethernet port to connect to the internet through my PC.

Now the problem is, whenever I connect anything to the ethernet port, my internet stops working for some reason. Can anyone help me out?

If there is anything extra you need to know, feel free to ask.

Thanks,
Michael

Not a gamer, myself. Most of the tutorials I found are for networking to Windows Media Center

It's not really to do with the 360 itself, as anything I plug into the ethernet port cuts the internet off.

Does the ethernet port show that it's working correctly in Device Manager?
