Hello, my name is Adrienne. I live in the East Bay of Northern California. I have only limited computer knowledge and am hoping this is the place where I can come if I have questions that may seem dumb to the tech guys, but, are important to me. I am resourceful and have searched on line for answers to my questions. When I go to places like the microsoft site, I feel like those guys know so much that they know nothing about what I am trying to say. I also have my Windows XP computer manuals. However, sometimes, I come across a query that I don't seem to be able to find an answer. Maybe it is how I type in the question, I don't know. I am hoping I can get help here. I have a few things so please look for my posts and your help is greatly appreciated. I love rock music and always have it playing while I'm on my computer. It keeps me from grabbing it and throwing it out the window. Just kidding!
So thanks in advance for letting me be here and reading my posts.

Hello Adrine Welcome to bleeping computer. One of the great things here is they won't talk over your head.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

Welcome to BC Adrine!

This is an awesome place to have your questions answered, but an even better place to expand your computer knowledge! The guys and girls here are very knowledgeable and extremely patient with there help. :trumpet:

They have a program for training people in the art of Malware Fighting called the HiJackThis Team. I don't think they are accepting any new trainees as of now, but you should look into it. I've learned lots so far and am just in the beginning stages.

Hope you enjoy your stay!

I like the story behind your name! :flowers:

Because everyone here is primarily a computer user and NOT a computer specialist or a "geek," we tend to explain ourselves in everyday English. And because everyone here began knowing next to nothing about what makes that screen come up when the computer is turned on, we all understand "elementary" questions from others, so don't hesitate to post on the forums.
