How Do I Open This Please.....?

I am using Windows Xp , and Firefox , Ive just been sent a Kmz file attachment
which I think may have some thing to do with Google Earth..?
which I cannot use due to my slow dial up connection

Ive tried to open the attachment , but no luck .... can any one please tell me how I can
open this Kmz file..?

the kmz file is just a link back to the larger file stored on the internet, so it's going to be very slow on dialup, try it again when online and wait

From what I see, it's a GE file which saved your previous work. Similar to .zip file, allegedly can be opened by same programs that open .zip files. http://filext.com/file-extension/KMZ

But that's somewhat contradicted by http://www.fileinfo.net/extension/kmz

It's a zip file that links back to GE.

Even though I have used GE before, had never seen this file extension before. I probably never saved anything I was looking at :thumbsup:.
