Not sure if this is the right forum for this.

I have a mysterious scratch on my Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop. It is quite fine but you can feel it with a finger.

Does anyone have a good method to get rid of them?

I have seen advice elsewhere suggesting the use of mild abrasives such as Brasso metal polish but think this is a bit risky.

Any good ideas or actual experienced solutions appreciated.

Thanks.

I would not use any abrasive on the screen and would probably leave it alone if it does not affect the screen output

The problem is it is quite a noticeable scratch and quite an irritant.
I have also been advised to use a 'polish' that can be used to remove scratches on eyeglasses.
Any thoughts on whether this would be safe?

Nothing I have read has led me to believe it would work. I really dont know what to advise you on this.
