Ok for office 2003, the programs are located

Start - All Programs - Microsoft Office.

Then there is inside the folder...

Microsoft Office Tools (Folder) which opens to other stuff.
Microsoft Office Excel 2003
Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003
Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003
Microsoft Office Publisher 2003
Microsoft Office Word 2003
Microsoft Office Outlook 2003

And Microsoft Office Access 2003 is supposed to be in there well it ain't because i dragged it to my desktop hoping it would have created a shortcut but instead moving the whole thing to my desktop instead. If i would have just right clicked it and selected "Send To Desktop (Create Shortcut)" would have been fine.

So, i tried to drag it back to where it was originally but it won't go in, there is no "X" or anything saying it won't go there just the little symbol that says it can go there but it won't go there. It will drag to the Start Menu that's it.

I know i can just run the "Rapair" wizzard in Office but i though you could drag it there.

ANy reason on why it won't?

Go into c:\documents and settings\yourusername\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft Office using windows explorer or another method. Then move that icon back into that folder

It still won't go in there. you know know when you move things and if it not allowed to be there you get that symbol. well it ain't doing that. it has the symbol where you can put it there but when drag it there then let it go just won't go. so i ended giving up and did and office repair which fixed the problem.
Izzy.
